Drottningholm Palace

The Palace is the Royal Family's permanent residence. It is the most well-preserved royal castle built in the 1600s in Sweden and at the same time is representative of all European architecture for the period. The Drottningholm Palace has been on UNESCO´s World Heritage list since 1991, mainly because of the Drottningholm Palace Theatre and the Chinese Pavilion at Drottningholm. These as well as the magnificent palace gardens make a visit to Drottningholm a popular attraction.
