Day 2 - Rovaniemi
Scandinavian Breakfast at Hotel.
Morning starts 2 hours Local Reindeer Farm Visit.
Visit the Sami Reindeer Farm to greet a local reindeer herder in the summer.You will also get the chance to meet and feed their genuine reindeer. Listen to the unique stories of these gentle creatures, and take a photo with the loving reindeer and their herders.
Make childhood dreams come true by visiting Santa in Santa Claus Village. You’ll see Santa’s Post Office, and take part in an Arctic Circle Crossing ceremony. It’ll be the ultimate hassle-free day without anything to organize as hotel pickup and drop-off is included.

Ranua Wildlife Park
Ranua Wildlife Park is open every day of the year, also in the winter. Here you can see in natural surroundings how arctic animals have adapted to changing seasons. Ranua Wildlife park is the home of over 50 arctic animal species and 200 individual animals. The animals live in spacious enclosures in the middle of forest.
Arctic Boat Trip to the Ounasjoki River (3 Hours)
We’ll pick up attendees and meet onshore of the Ounasjoki river, where we hop onboard the Golden Fox, our riverboat. We’ll travel towards forest farm, along the Ounasjoki river, admiring the beautiful riverside views and stopping to take photos occasionally. We’ll cook sausages and enjoy some campfire coffee in the lean-to at the farm and hear stories about life by Ounasjoki river. The return trip to Rovaniemi by our riverboat will give you another chance to admire the beautiful nature of Ounasjoki. Including return transportation from pick up places, sausage by open fire and local guide on tour. Public Tour
Berry Nice day (3 Hours)
Lapland forests are full of wildberries. But without a local help, it might be difficult to sport the best berry places. Learn the basics about the superfoods, which you can pick up totally fresh and pure from the ground. Blueberries and cloundberries are waiting to be picked up. Enjoy your berries as a snack or learn how to make juice out of your berries on campfire. Take your juice with you in a beautiful small bottle. Taste a cup of traditional pot coffee made over the open fire while spending a splendid day outdoor in fresh air. We are waiting you to visit in our cozy workshop! You will explore to secret of reindeer antler working and its enchanting history. You will also have a opportunity to accumulate you own handicraft skills supported by the professional handicraft artisans. At the end of the visit, you´ll have your very own self-made homecoming gift keepshake of your visitation.
Summer Floating - Day or Night (3 Hours)
Feel the floating sensation when stepping into a fresh water lake in Lapland, fully covered in a special rescue suit! The arctic waters remain cold also during hottest of the summer months but suited up from head to toe we stay warm and dry. Enjoy the silence of wilderness lake and its pure nature! In the evening, enjoy the evening sunlight in a peaceful forest outside of the city and its noises. We drive off from the city to reach a wilderness lakeside where the sun does not set. Float away in the middle of an arctic lake glazing in the sky, listening to the birds singing and experiencing nature from a fish perspective. Dressed up in a floating suits we stay warm and dry when entering the lake. Our guide prepares hot drinks by an open fire and we will toast for the midnight sun. Rent an e-bike (3-24 Hours)
Discover the Arctic Circle area on your own with our fast and easy to ride an e-bike! E-bikes are effortless to ride, easy to use and suitable for various terrains. Admiring the beautiful Arctic nature has never been easier! E-bikes are also suitable for beginners as they are very easy to use. By adjusting the electric assistance you can choose how challenging your ride will be. For more of a challenge, you can also bike without the electric assistance. We will guide you in using the bike at our rental station. Whatever setting on the bike you choose you can be sure the views will be spectacular! Including bike, helmet and lock, introduction for use of the bike.
Relaxing day with Yoga and Husky Therapy
You are wamly welcome to visit the small family husky farm near Rovaniemi, in the picturesque and beautiful scenery of the lakeshore. The farm offers peaceful surroundings for you to relax and unwind in. This combined with the nature-valuing lifestyle of the family living there makes the atmosphere truly special and welcoming. At the farm the huskies are partners and family members who love to spend their time outside and are enthusiastically waiting to meet you. We start by taking these beautiful huskies out for a hike. After the outdoor experience we will go inside to the beautiful yoga room where we will have a relaxing Yin yoga class. You don’t need to have previous experience for this. After yoga class you will feel relaxed freedom in your body. We will enjoy lunch made with love and using mostly organic and local products, giving you a taste of arctic nature. Maximum 6 persons. Magic of Nature - Day or Night (3 Hours)
The best part of Lapland is its wild nature, purest air and purest water in the world! We want you to experience all of them during this trip to the forest. Smell the growing trees, listen to the birds, watch the colors and shades surrounding you and taste the pure water from a natural spring. Take a break by a campfire and our guide will teach you how to make your own bark birch cup, a small present for yourselves with natural products. Taste the spring water bubbling from under the ground and take a drink from self-made cup. Be in harmony with the arctic environment, reduce your stress, hug a tree and take a piece of Lapland back home with you. Sauna Boat Scenic River Cruise (3 Hours)
Cruise the river in style on this unique Sauna Boat. Relax in the Lapland's traditional sauna and explore the beautiful summer landscape from your sauna boat. Spend time on the lake in the gentle light of the midnight sun and swim in the crystal waters of the lake and enjoy the fresh air. Enjoy the barbecue and blueberry juice on board. The floating sauna was built in the summer of 2012, its design concept comes from the traditional Finnish sauna experience together with the beautiful landscape the lakeside can offer. From June to July in Lapland this a unique experience you can be a part of. Visit the Amethyst mine in Luosto
Lampivaara Amethyst Mine is one of the few mines which welcomes visitors all year round. The amethyst of Lampivaara was formed about 2 000 million years ago in the bowels of the ancient mountains. There is now a special gem mine on the top of the hill that will sustain for hundreds of years, because machines aren’t used to dig the amethysts and it’s not exported as raw material. This makes it possible for people to visit the Amethyst Mine and search their own amethyst to keep during the tours.During the tour people will hear about the geology and history in addition to the properties of the gems and the uses of amethyst. In many cultures there are lots of different beliefs connected to amethyst.
