    Enjoy 03 hours Rovaniemi Nature Trail Walk (Public Tour). Head to Ounasvaara recreational area where you hike on top of the hill area to admire beautiful scene of Rovaniemi surroundings. Hear stories about life in the arctic city and lapland on your break while grilling your sausages on the fire and have a cup of proper outdoor coffee made on the fire before returning to the city. Including English speaking guided walk, saysage grilling and drinks. Transport is not included.

    Afternoon, make childhood dreams come true by visiting Santa in Santa Claus Village.  You’ll see Santa’s Post Office, and take part in an Arctic Circle Crossing ceremony.

Meet Taivas and the Wolfdogs / Ranua

Meet Taivas and visit the Susimaa Wolfdogs inside their enclosures and spend some quality time with them. Learn about the history of wolfdogs and the difference to do domestic dog breeds while watching their dynamics and interactions with you and each other. Follow their interactions, how they play and how they talk to each other. Guided 1 hour farm tour, History about dogs / wolfdogs / wolves, Stories about off-grid life with Wolfdogs in the woods, Entering some of the enclosures and quality time with our wolfdogs. Wolfdogs are NO regular dogs. They are all very friendly and socialized from us to people, but be prepared that they jump, nibble and that they definitely will try to lick your face. That is not bad behavior, but the way wild wolves also say hello to each other and express feelings. You don't have to be afraid, just prepared, nothing bad will happen - but maybe the begin of a friendship!

Pyhä-Luosto Natural Park Hiking Tour (8 Hours)

Pyhä-Luosto area is ideal for hiking and unforgettable day trips! This guiding hiking trip in the Natural Park will explore the best trails of the area and also includes a visit to the interesting Puha-Luosto Visit Center Naava which houses a fascinating nature exhibition on the nature and cultural history! After pickup up at accommodation you will be taken to Luosto National Park, around 100 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Pyhä-Luosto National Park is an optimal location for nature adventures with its hills, ravines, old villages and rivers. During this 7-kilometers hiking you can enjoy the best panorama views over the southernmost summits of the fell range. The trail will take you to mystical mires that are lined by a breath-taking handsome fell range. Part of the trail runs through varied heath forests and has some altitude differences, and some stairs in the steepest sections. Visit Local home and Traditional Sauna

Sauna has a big part in the Finnish culture. Originally it was the place for physical and spiritual cleansing, and nowadays relaxation at least once a week is its main purpose. After a day's activities there is nothing more enjoyable than going for a sauna and then swim in a fresh lake. Our guide will advise how to experience all this with maximum enjoyment. Swimsuits and towels can be worn in the sauna. Afterwards we will enjoy some snacks before returning to the city. The duration is approximately 3.5 hours including transfers from Rovaniemi centre, Snacks and drinks by open fire, traditional sauna experience with towels, and guidance in English. Born to Run (3.5 Hours)

Huskies are not born fit, it takes lots of preparation and conditioning before the dogs are as fit as they can be. Visit the kennel and get a feel for how the dogs are prepared to be the amazing athletes that they are.  Our enthusiastic dogs will happily take you down the forest trail for an unforgettable experience on the trolly-cart ride, the duration of the ride is 45 minutes, approximately 4-5 km. 2 adults drive on 1 cart, children will be joining a large cart driven by the guide. Please note, for the animal welfare reasons, we offer husky cart rides only, if the temperature is less than +10 C. Hot juice and cookies will be served after the ride together with the stories about the husky kennel.
