    Scandinavian Breakfast at Hotel.

    Morning starts 1.5 hours Local Reindeer Farm Visit.
    Visit the Saariselka Reindeer Farm to greet a local reindeer herder in the summer. During your visit we feed the reindeer in the yard and tell you about reindeer herding. You will also have a chance to practice throwing suopunki (Sami 'lasso') and have a look inside kota. In the main cabin you will have a cup of coffee and chat more about reindeer and Sami. Transfers from Saariselkä are included.

    Visit to Takavaara Gold Village
    Exhibiting the gold digging culture of Lapland, the village was founded by the local gold diggers. In summer, you can try gold panning in the same places as the real prospectors. The Nugget Square displays buildings from gold fields around the world. Tansportation by your own.

Midnight Sun Ivalo – Saariselka

Join the nature experts and enjoy the best views in southern Lapland mountain area. We will take a leisurely 700 meters hike to the top of a picturesque hill, where you can admire breathtaking views over North Lapland and its taiga forests. Listen to stories about local nature and life in the wilds while barbequing by the open fire. Duration 4 h including return transfers from your hotel. 

Hiking Urho Kekkosen national park

Your next hiking holiday could be directed to the northernmost Finland, to the land of wonderful fells, historical gold panning, colourful Saami culture and international tourism in the extremely pure arctic nature.
We would be pleased to take you to one of the largest national park in Finland, to the Urho Kekkonen National park (UK-National park). The hiking treks suit for people used to the regular exercise. Suitable also for people whom taking photos and enjoying wonderful surroundings in the land of the Midnight Sun, in the Northernmost Europe.  

Hiking and Paddling trip on wilderness river

This beautiful river takes you to a flowing trip down the Tolosjoki offering amazing sceneries along its way.The river experience starts from Tolosjoki. Some small rapids, easy to paddle, will increase the fun. Here and there the water is shallow and you might need to wet your feet for a moment. The pack rafts are easy to paddle and very light to carry. On the shore along the first part of the river gold digging goes on during the summer.

Berry Picking

Immerse yourself in the local lifestyle as an experienced nature guide leads you to the world of berry picking and nature bathing. Depending on the season you will find richly flavoured Lappish berries like cloudberries, blueberries, lingonberries, cranberries, and crowberries, all ripened by the midnight sun. With a little luck, you might meet some reindeer and birds like the Siberian jay and willow grouse. Duration:2½ hours

Lake Inari Cruise

Lake Inari is the third largest lake in Finland and is home to over 3300 islands. Lake Inari Cruise is an easy way to experience the biggest arctic wilderness lake in Northern Lapland. The lake cruise starts from the harbour by the Sámi Museum, SIIDA, and will take you to see the historical Ukko Island. Duration: 2½ - 3 hours

Pike Fishing Expedition

Throughout the times, Pike has had a big role in the everyday life on the shorelines of Lake Inari. Back when Finland was a province in the Swedish Empire, part of the taxes paid to the crown were paid as dried pike, a delicacy among royals. Lake Inari is well known as a fishing destination. This great wilderness lake has several good fishing spots as well as breathtaking scenery. The fishing guide will take you to the archipelago where there is a good chance to catch arctic lake pike. Duration: 2½ hours

The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos

The Sámi Cultural Centre Sajos is located at the heart of multicultural Inari. Sajos is the centre of Sámi culture and administration. Midnight Sun Cruise

Bright and shiny, the sun seems to be oblivious of time as you cruise on Lake Inari in full daylight, in the middle of the night.
You are north of the Polar Circle and experiencing the Midnight Sun! The Midnight Sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs north of 66° N 33’, between the vernal equinox and autumnal equinox. During the midnight sun period the sun does not go under the horizon at all. The wilderness lake, Lake Inari, guarantees a perfect setting for experiencing the nightless night.

Nightless Night Hike

The endless sunlight keeping you up at night. Instead of wasting time and lying in bed, why not take this unique opportunity to hike in the nightless night.
