    8-10 Hours Boat Trip with Polargirl to Pyramiden & Nordenskiöldglacier - Polar Charter (Public Tours)
    With MS Polargirl we sail directly towards the Russian settlement Pyramiden in the innermost part of Billefjorden
    Lunch is served after the Pyramiden city & before we head towards the Nordenskiöld glacier.
    Depending on the season we will on our way back to Longyearbyen either pay a visit to Skansbukta or the birdcliff Diabas
    Meeting Point at Pier.

7 Hours Public Tour for Walrus Safari by Comfortable Rib Boats to a well-known walrus colony, you will then have the opportunity to observe these funny and extraordinary mammals in the arctic landscape. Light Lunch is included. 

Hike from sea to summit

7 Hours Public Hiking through the Louise Valley towards Caroline Valley then head up onto the Forkastnings Mountain.You can feed the endemic reindeers and enjoy the incredible views over the whole Isfjord. 10 km hiking, light lunch, warm drink, guide, transfers, boat transfers and necessary safety equipments is included.

Dogsledding on Wheels

6 Hours Public Tour to explore the gorgeous tundra landscape in Adventdalen from a special-made wagon pulled by a husky team. Lunch will be served after dogsleddings, then you will enjoy hike with dogs to the see the rich plant life of the Arctic Tundra. Transfers, guide and lunch is included. 

Bjørndalen walk with BBQ

2,5 Hours Public Guided Tour for Longyearbyen City Walk. We discover the remains of previous Longyear-city, enjoy a beautiful view on the fjord while learning about the coal mining industry and society,understand human life facing arctic, remoteness and climate change while wandering between the most important places for citizens.

 

Evening Cruise with Hybrid-driven Speedboat

2,5 Hours Public Evening Cruise on the Isfjord. You will experience some of the arctic wildlife, perhaps even the world's largest animal the blue whale. In the fall when the Polar Night begins, and the conditions are right, we might be able to see the beautiful Northern Lights. Beverages can be purchased on board.

Tour to the Barentsburg Mine

1,5 Hours Public Tour to The mine in Barentsburg is the northernmost one among all the Russian mines. You can see a war between man and nature, mechanisms used to go deep into the ground and for mine reinforcement and collapse protection. You can learn how the coal is being produced and transported onto the surface. 

Try FatBiking on a Historic Road

2 Hours Public Fat Biking Tour on “Burmaveien” an old gravel road in the mountain side. You will have a beautiful view over the landscape with the fjord, mountains and early settlements. If you are lucky and there is some wildlife it is possible to take great pictures. Meeting point at Scooter Parkering in front of Funken Lodge. No pick-up transfers is included.
